Saturday Social Rides

Saturday Social Rides

June 24th, 9:30am

Behind Chevin Cycles

To replace our ‘away day’ I’ve come up with a reasonably flat 100km route out to Wetherby and back. It is not set in stone, as the weather has turned a bit iffy and I am open to changes on the return journey. You might want to ride so far and then turn back, if you are short of time, it is up to you!
Come along and join us, 9.30am at Chevin Cycles.
There will also be a 30 and 20 mile route.

A quick cafe stop somewhere before returning home for approximately 1pm.
Great fun and a good crowd.

Lakes Weekender

Lakes Weekender

August 18th, 2:00pm

Lumley Fee bunkbarn, Brigsteer has been booked for this year’s weekender. Places can be booked via Eventbrite (if you want to know anything prior to booking, please message me privately).
Generally, most people arrive in time to have an afternoon ride before we check-in. Then, on arrival at the bunkbarn, a ‘feast’ is prepared for the evening meal, where we share a variety of dishes and have a drink and begin planning our ride for the following day.
After a good sleep and hearty breakfast (we make this ourselves) we set off for the day – raining or not!!
On Saturday night we get a mini bus to the village pub for a fabulous meal and some drinks, then the mini bus takes us back up the hill to our beds – or not – depending on how thirsty you are!.
On Sunday, we pack up after breakfast and drive to the start of our final ride of the weekend. Another scenic route for us to try out before a final coffee stop and drive home.
